ChorePup™ Terms of Use

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using ChorePup. By using ChorePup, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use ChorePup.
1. Who Provides ChorePup

2. What ChorePup Is
ChorePup is a family chore, routines, points, rewards, approvals and motivation app. It helps parents and guardians manage family tasks, child profiles, point balances, reward goals, approval requests and related family activity.
ChorePup is a family organization tool. It is not financial, legal, medical, mental health, education, tax, payroll, employment, or professional advice.
3. Parent and Guardian Responsibility
ChorePup is intended to be set up and managed by parents or guardians.
Parents or guardians are responsible for:
Creating and managing their family account
Creating and managing child profiles
Authorizing children in their family to use ChorePup
Choosing appropriate tasks, routines, point values, rewards and family rules
Reviewing family activity, approval requests and reward requests
Keeping account access secure
Making sure ChorePup is used appropriately within their family
Children should only use ChorePup with permission from their parent or guardian.
4. Accounts and Access
Some ChorePup features may require an account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, family account, linked sign-in methods, or devices where ChorePup is installed.
ChorePup may support family roles, including Owner, Co-owner, Parent and Child. Available features may depend on the role assigned to a user within a family.
You may not attempt to access another family’s data, interfere with another family’s account, bypass family access controls, misuse invite codes or PINs, or use ChorePup in a way that harms other users or the service.
5. Child Mode
Child Mode is intended to provide a limited app experience for children within a private family group.
Children may be able to view points, tasks, routines, rewards, goals and family activity available to them. Children may also be able to submit task completion requests, reward requests, retry requests, optional notes, or similar app activity.
Child Mode does not provide children with public posting, public profiles, public chat, or communication with strangers.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising how children use ChorePup.
6. Family Content
Families may create content inside ChorePup, such as child display names, task names, routine names, reward names, notes, approval responses and point transaction records.
You agree not to enter content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, bullying, threatening, sexually explicit, discriminatory, invasive of privacy, or otherwise inappropriate for a family app.
You should not enter sensitive information into free-text fields, including full legal names for children, precise location details, school information, medical information, financial account information, passwords, government ID numbers, or other unnecessary personal details.
You are responsible for the family content entered into your ChorePup account.
7. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Premium Features
ChorePup may offer free features, free trials, subscriptions, lifetime purchases, premium features, promotional access, tester access, or other paid options.
Purchases are processed by the app store platform where the purchase is made, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. ChorePup does not directly collect or store full payment card numbers.
Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund options may be managed through the app store account used to make the purchase. You are responsible for reviewing the purchase terms shown by the app store before confirming a purchase.
Premium access may be connected to the purchasing parent or adult account and may apply to the family that account currently belongs to, depending on ChorePup’s current premium rules.
ChorePup may change free and premium feature availability over time. If we make material changes, we will aim to communicate those changes clearly.
8. Beta Testing and Early Access
ChorePup may offer beta, closed testing, early access, or tester versions.
Beta or testing versions may contain bugs, unfinished features, temporary test tools, incomplete subscription behavior, or other issues. You agree to use testing versions with that understanding and to provide feedback responsibly.
Do not use beta or testing versions for critical record-keeping where loss of access, bugs, or data changes would create serious harm.
9. Availability, Syncing, and Data Accuracy
ChorePup aims to provide a reliable family chore and rewards experience, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
Some features may require internet access, app store services, Firebase services, Google services, Apple services, or other third-party systems. ChorePup may not work correctly if those services are unavailable, if your device is offline, or if app data cannot sync.
Point balances, task history, approval status, and reward activity are intended as family motivation tools. Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing and correcting family data as needed.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Misuse ChorePup or interfere with its operation
Attempt to access data belonging to another family
Attempt to bypass account, role, family, subscription, or security restrictions
Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or exploit ChorePup except as allowed by law
Upload or enter unlawful, harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
Use ChorePup to harass, shame, threaten, exploit, or harm a child or other person
Use ChorePup for advertising, tracking, scraping, or unauthorized data collection
Use ChorePup in a way that violates applicable laws or app store rules
11. Intellectual Property
ChorePup, the ChorePup name, app design, branding, logos, text, features, software, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Xenith Horizon Group LLC.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from ChorePup except as allowed by law or with written permission.
Family content that you enter into ChorePup remains your family’s content. You give ChorePup permission to process that content only as needed to provide, sync, secure, support, and improve the app.
12. Privacy
Your use of ChorePup is also governed by the ChorePup Privacy Policy, which explains how ChorePup collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information.
13. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to ChorePup if we believe an account is being used in a way that violates these Terms, risks harm to users, threatens app security, violates law, interferes with the service, or misuses ChorePup.
You may stop using ChorePup at any time. You may also request account or data deletion using the ChorePup data deletion request page.
14. Disclaimers
ChorePup is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChorePup makes no warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available, or that all family data will always sync perfectly across devices.
ChorePup is a family organization and motivation tool. Parents and guardians remain responsible for household decisions, child supervision, allowance decisions, screen-time decisions, reward decisions, and family rules.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xenith Horizon Group LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or service interruptions related to your use of ChorePup.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
Continued use of ChorePup after updated Terms are posted means the updated Terms apply.
If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice in the app, by email, on our website, or through another appropriate method.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Missouri, United States unless applicable law requires otherwise.
