Type of request
Details about what you want deleted
Confirmation that you are authorized to request deletion for the account, family, or child profile

You may request:
Deletion of your ChorePup account
Deletion of your family account
Deletion of one or more child profiles
Deletion of tasks, chores, routines, rewards, or goals
Deletion of point transaction history
Deletion of approval requests, retry requests, reward requests, notes, or parent responses
Deletion of support request records, where technically and legally possible
Deletion of other ChorePup app data associated with your verified request

Because ChorePup is designed for family use, some data may affect multiple family members.
Before completing a deletion request, ChorePup may need to verify that you are authorized to delete the requested account, family, child profile, or family data.
Verification may include confirming:
The email address connected to the account
Family ID or family details
Your role in the family account
Other information reasonably needed to protect the privacy and safety of the family
We may deny, delay, narrow, or ask for more information about a request if we cannot verify that the requester is authorized.

Depending on the verified request, deleted data may include:
Account records
Family membership records
Child profiles
Parent-assigned display names or nicknames
Family settings
Tasks, chores, routines, and rewards
Goals and reward preferences
Point balances and point transaction history
Approval requests, retry requests, reward requests, notes, and parent responses
Related app activity and timestamps
Other ChorePup data associated with the verified request

Some data may be retained when necessary for:
Security
Fraud prevention
Legal compliance
Billing or purchase support
Troubleshooting
Backup recovery
Dispute resolution
Protection of users
Prevention of unauthorized access or misuse
Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being deleted through normal backup rotation.
App store purchase records may continue to be maintained by the app store platform where the purchase was made, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Deleting your ChorePup account or app data does not necessarily cancel an active app store subscription.
If you have an active ChorePup subscription through Google Play or the Apple App Store, you may also need to manage or cancel that subscription through your app store account.
ChorePup does not directly collect or store full payment card numbers.

Deletion requests are typically reviewed and processed within 30 days after we receive enough information to verify and complete the request.
If a request is complex, unclear, or requires additional verification, we may contact you for more information.

Deleting the ChorePup app from your device does not automatically delete your ChorePup account, family account, cloud-synced app data, or app store subscription.
