Child Mode is intended to operate under parent or guardian control. Children should only use ChorePup with permission from their parent or guardian.
Child profiles are designed to use minimal information. Parents should use nicknames or display names instead of full legal names when possible and should avoid entering sensitive child information.
Children may submit chore completion requests, reward requests, optional notes, retry requests or similar app activity within their private family group. Parents can review, manage, correct or request deletion of this information.
ChorePup does not provide public communication features for children and does not allow children to communicate with strangers through the app.

We may process information through service providers needed to operate ChorePup, such as Firebase, Google services, Apple services, Google Play, Apple App Store / StoreKit and related service providers used for authentication, cloud data storage, syncing, purchases, app distribution, account security and support functionality.
These providers may process information as needed to provide services to ChorePup and according to their own privacy and security terms.
-
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, to investigate misuse, to respond to valid legal requests, to prevent fraud or security issues or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of ChorePup, families or others.
9. Third-Party Services
ChorePup may use third-party services necessary to operate the app, including:
Firebase
Google Sign-In
Apple Sign-In
Google Play
Apple App Store / StoreKit
Related Google, Apple, hosting, app distribution, authentication, purchase, support and cloud service providers
ChorePup does not use advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, third-party advertising or third-party tracking for advertising purposes.
If ChorePup adds new service providers that materially change how user or family information is collected, used or shared, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
10. Data Security
We use Firebase, Google services, Apple services and related service providers to support authentication, cloud syncing, purchases and data storage. Data transmitted between the app and cloud services is encrypted in transit.
ChorePup is designed to separate family data by family account and to limit access based on family membership and role permissions.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a family chore and rewards app, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Data Storage and Processing Location
ChorePup uses cloud service providers such as Firebase and Google services to operate the app. Depending on those providers’ systems, information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where those providers operate.
12. Data Retention
We keep app data for as long as needed to provide ChorePup functionality, support family syncing, maintain account security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our policies and support deletion or privacy requests.
Some app data, such as transaction history, approval history, family membership records, purchase entitlement records or support request records, may be retained for a period of time after account or data deletion if needed for security, legal compliance, troubleshooting, backup recovery, fraud prevention, billing support or protection of users.
We aim to retain child-related information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the family chore, points, rewards, routines, approval and account features requested by the parent or guardian.
13. Account and Data Deletion
Parents, guardians or authorized account holders may request deletion of their ChorePup account and associated app data by using the account deletion request page linked in the app, on this website and on supported app store listings.
Users may also request deletion of some or all app data without deleting their account. For example, a user may request removal of a family, child profile, task history, reward history, approval notes or other app data where deletion is technically and legally possible.
Because ChorePup is designed for family use, some records may be connected to multiple family members. We may need to verify that the requester is authorized to delete the requested account, family or family data before completing the request.
Deleted data may include account records, family membership records, child profiles, tasks, routines, rewards, goals, approval requests, notes and point transaction history associated with the verified request.
Some data may be retained when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, troubleshooting, backup recovery, billing support or to protect the rights and safety of users. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being deleted through normal backup rotation.
Deletion requests are typically reviewed and processed within 30 days after we receive enough information to verify and complete the request.
App store subscriptions and purchases are managed by the app store platform where the purchase was made. After requesting ChorePup account deletion, you may also need to manage or cancel active subscriptions through your Google Play or Apple App Store account.
14. Your Choices
Parents can manage family information inside the app, including child profiles, tasks, routines, rewards, approvals and certain family settings.
You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or help with your ChorePup data:
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
If we make material changes to how ChorePup collects, uses or shares family or child information, we may provide additional notice in the app, by email, on our website or through another appropriate method.
